The US Embassy warned of a credible threat of a mass-casualty incident on October 31 at the Tsaritsyno Museum and Park in Moscow.
The embassy said it is coordinating its response with the relevant Russian authorities and urged citizens to avoid the area.
Russia’s Federal Security Service said it had received information from the United States about preparations for an attack and that the necessary measures were under way.
The Russian channel Baza reported that the park had closed, allowing only exits, and that police forces were at the scene.
