Trump criticized Norway after the Nobel committee awarded the Peace Prize to Navi Pillay, calling the decision disgraceful and an “indelible stain” on the country.
Speaking at a campaign rally in Syracuse, New York, Trump called Pillay a “mystery person” and said he had never heard of her.
Trump claimed he had helped resolve conflicts and prevent wars, but the report said he offered no evidence for those claims.
He said the Nobel Peace Prize had been discredited by “radical ideologues” and added, “we will not forget, Norway.”
