The Comoros-flagged cargo ship Khoryv was struck by a drone and sank near Romania’s Black Sea coast.
Of the 13 crew members, 10 were recovered: nine survived, one died and three remained missing.
Romanian President Nicușor Dan blamed Russia, calling the attack part of an escalation in the war against Ukraine.
The crew included 10 Ukrainians and three Azerbaijanis.
