Egypt Forum 2026 opens a dialogue to set the country’s priorities through 2030

The Egypt Forum 2026 opened in the presence of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, with the aim of shaping national priorities and actionable solutions through dialogue.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said the forum brings together the government, civil society, experts, the opposition and citizens to discuss achievements and shortcomings and address people’s concerns.
Madbouly said registered participants had submitted more than 16,000 proposals and that the forum would examine more than 42 general questions.
The preparatory consultations included more than 450 citizens in hearings, while over 4,000 academics, researchers and experts took part in sessions held at Egyptian universities.
Madbouly said the forum would assess development efforts over the past 12 years and discuss achievements, shortcomings and public concerns about policies and national projects.
The Minister of Agriculture said that food security and rural development are at the top of the state’s priorities, as set out in its vision presented at the forum.
